Letter and foolscap are not the same, whatever the drawer says
Casavio Studio is a small online desk-supplies shop in Jaipur selling file folders, hanging files and organisers. Every listing states the size standard, the tab cut and the exact pack count, because filing goes wrong quietly and then all at once.
Casavio Studio is a sole proprietorship based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, operating online as Casavio Studio at casaviostudio.shop. We are online-only — there is no showroom and no walk-in counter; the address on our invoices is the registered office and packing room.
Two hundred folders, one wrong standard
The first bulk order we ever placed was two hundred manila folders that were half an inch too tall for the cabinet they were bought for. The listing had said ‘standard’ without naming which standard, and by the time anyone noticed, the wrap was off and the box was ours.
So size standard, tab cut and rail spacing go at the top of every listing here, in plain figures. It is not interesting copy. It is the difference between a drawer that indexes and two hundred folders standing proud of the rails.
Size standard named
Letter, legal or foolscap — written out, never left as ‘standard’. They are close enough to confuse and far enough apart to be useless.
Tab cut and rail spacing
Published per item, because those two decide whether a drawer reads properly and whether hanging files sit on your rails.
Counted packs
Pack counts are exact and checked before dispatch. A short count is a replacement, not an argument about tolerance.
What we will not claim
We will not print a capacity we have not tested, we will not describe thin board as heavyweight, and we will not photograph a drawer that was styled rather than filed. Stationery is bought in quantity and judged the same afternoon.
